We need to hire former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly to coach the Indian cricket team with immediate effect. Currently, the Indian team is going through a very tough time. The players have lost their desire to win or so it seems. They are mentally down and only a personality like Sourav can bring back their confidence.

Its not that foreign coaches are bad. Gary Kirsten has had a lot of success with this same Indian team but this time we need someone who has played cricket for India before. Perhaps, an Indian would be able to understand players mentality much better than an outsider. In any case, its time we try out an indigenous solution for this crisis.

Since last year, India has lost 8 consecutive test matches against England and Australia in away series. And not only abroad, they have lost test series against England and one day series against Pakistan at home where they have been unbeaten for several years. This is a big shame for all Indian cricketers and heartbreaking for the fans of Indian cricket.

Duncan Fletcher has proven himself to be a complete failure and he is unable to manage his team. This is the time to say good bye to him and give a chance to the man who is well respected for his captaincy and team management abilities. The Prince of Kolkata was the same man who brought back India from its darkest phase when Indian cricket Was suffering with match fixing scandal.

He started with a very junior team and ended up with India appearing in a world cup final after 20 years. Under him, the team reached number 3 ranking in test cricket. This time we hope that he will bring back India its lost glory and take India at the top of the rankings.
